I am

The word genius means to give birth to the joy of learning. for instance Beethoven is a musical genius. He had joy learning how to play the piano. Also the famous 300 from Sparta are geniuses. The had a joy in learning how to fight to protect there city at any cost. According to Thomas Armstrong "every student is a genius", which means every student would like to learn something. For instance, i like to learn new thing everyday, so there for I am an genius.
From reading "awakening genius" by Thomas Armstrong there are some qualities of genius that i acquire. One quality of genius that i acquire is creativity. creativity has the same root meaning as in genius which is to give birth. According to Thomas Armstrong creativity is the birth to new ways of looking at things. I acquire this quality because I look at a lot of things differently. For instance when I was in one of my English classes this year, we were reading and watching a novel called the trail. when we finished the book the teacher asked the class why did we think Joseph k got killed, i was the only one to say that i think he died because he got rid of his lawyer. my teacher was amazed and said I was the only student to make that assumption.
Another way how I showed my creativity was when I was doing construction work with my dad. We were putting up a ceiling and was having an hard time putting it up, so i had an idea to put a piece of 2x4 on to a longer piece of wood to make a T to hold the ceiling up while we maneuver 1 side. Another quality of genius that i have is vitality. According to Thomas Armstrong vitality means that you are aware of your environment or surroundings. for instance both out side and in side of school I know some how that i am in-danger or if im safe. There was an incadient that me and my freind got to when we were younger, when a group of boys tried to beat us up. If I didn't spot the exit while we were running away from them i dont know what they were capable of and what they could have done.
in conclusion this is a poem that i wrote that relates to this task.

I pretend that i am by myself
I feel and know that im really not
